Custom jeweller José Latchinian never had to close his showroom in South Surrey, but things have looked dicey since COVID-19 restrictions for physical distancing in retail set in.

“I must say the first couple of weeks, two, three weeks, it was deader than anything over here,” said Latchinian. “I was going OK, I may have to close my doors, but that’s not me.”

Latchinian is hopeful about the future, but knows getting there isn’t going to be easy.

RCMP Veterans Association

For a number of years, José & Co. has supported the RCMP Veterans’ Association (VA) Vancouver Division, in their silent auction which was been held to raise awareness of the Buffalo Celtic Music Society (BCMS), a non-profit society, and the RCMP “E” Division Pipe Band.

Due to this years 2020 circumstances, this event is on hold, however, José & Co. has put aside three beautiful Aquamarine stones which have a value of over $1000.00 for when this very important silent auction can take place!

We look forward to when this event can take place!.

Bond, James Bond! Red Serge Gala 2019!

Celebrating the “Bonds” in our Community, Semiahmoo Community Safety Society is a local Non-Profit Society comprised of local community leaders, business people and interested citizens. They work with the White Rock RCMP and fund their Volunteer Programs as well as help fund other Safety groups and initiatives in the Peninsula area.

Cops for Cancer

Richmond RCMP Constable Iulia Gudkova (left) and White Rock Constable Carly Godlien (right) will be participating in the upcoming Cops for Cancer.

Cops for Cancer is a program launched in partnership between first responders across the country and the Canadian Cancer Society to support children and families affected by childhood cancer. It all started with one Police Officer and the program has raised over $42 million dollars.

José personally handcrafted a custom 14kt White Gold, Ruby and Diamond Pendant in our Goldsmith studio to donate to this extremely important event.
